Warranty Policy
Generations Doors & Docks Inc. Warranty Policies (All warranty pertains to the original buyer only,
General Service Labor Warranty - 30 days, sensor re-alignment is excluded from warranty.
Spring change – 1 year on springs and labor
OpenerParts -Parts installed byGenerationsDoors&Docks Inc. are warranty for 90days, including labor.
- Parts not installed by Generations Doors & Docks Inc. are subjected to the manufactures warranty. Not all parts may be replaceable through Generations Doors & Dock Inc.
Warranty is voided if others preform work on garage door or opener installed by Generations Doors & Docks Inc.
All doors and openers should be serviced annual. Annual service does not fall under warranty work.
Steel Door Warranty
~ Labor warranty is valid for one year on installation (two years on new home builds).
Sensor re-alignment, recoding of remotes or keyless entries are not covered under warranty. ~ Sections and hardware are limited to manufactures warranty.
~ Springs warranty 2 years on installation and parts.
Custom Western Red Cedar Wood Overlay Door Warranty
~ Labor warranty is valid for one year on installation (two years on new home builds).
Sensor re-alignment, recoding of remotes or keyless entries are not covered under warranty.
~ Sections and hardware are limited to manufactures warranty.
~ Springs warranty 2 years on installation and parts.
~ Wood doors are required to be stained or painted or sealed within 48 hours of installation. Failure to stain or paint the door will void all warranty.
~ Wood Overlay doors need to be stained or painted or seal again with in 6-8 months after being installed, then once a year after.
~ Failure to treat the wood will void any labor warranty against cupping or wood separating.
Customer Supplied Wood - Wood Overlay Doors Warranty
~ Labor warranty is valid for one year on installation (two years on new home builds).
Sensor re-alignment, recoding of remotes or keyless entries are not covered under warranty. ~ Sections and hardware are limited to manufactures warranty.
~ Springs warranty 2 years on installation and parts.
~ No warranty on wood supplied by customer.
Staining or painting or sealing of doors are required – failure to treat the wood will void any labor warranty against cupping or wood separating.
